Meet Information
We are hosting the 1st annual Rebel Middle School Invitational at Emory and Henry (Food City Sports Complex) on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. This will be an FAT timed meet
Entry fee for the meet is $100.00 per school. If you have less than 4 athletes then it will be $15.00 per athlete. Four athletes or more and you will need to pay the full price of $100.00.
Coaches, the meet will begin at 10:00. We will have the coaches meeting at 9:30 at the start finish line. The rest of the schedule is below
***Also, just wanted to let you know that we are running the 300 meter hurdles. On the list of events it says 200 meter hurdles and I am trying to get that changed
Coaches, you will be assigned a field event to help out with and I will send that out the week of the meet. Most of the events will be run by a coach from Patrick Henry so you will be there to rake, retrieve, measure, etc.)
Field events will be three throws or jumps for everyone and then the top seven will go to finals for three more throws or jumps
Awards: Top three teams (girls and boys) will receive a plaque. I am not doing individual medals this year since this is the first year of the meet. I want to see if we have plenty of teams to show up. I don't want to purchase medals this year and they not be used. If we have a good turnout then I will start doing medals next year
Concessions: We will have concessions open at the meet
Schedule:
9:00 - Gates open
9:30 - Coaches meeting
10:00 - Field events - (girls and boys long jump, girls high jump, girls discus, boys shot) followed by (boys high jump, boys discus, and girls shot put)
10:30 - Girls and Boys 4 x 800 relay
12:00 - Finals in running events. Once we start, there will not be a set schedule. We will be on a rolling schedule
