Dear LIS/VPL Coaches & AD's,
Woodberry Forest School looks forward to hosting the 2025 VPL/LIS Cross Country Championships! The schedule and details are listed below.
Race Time Info:
2:30 pm - Boys' VPL Championship 5,000 meters
3:00 pm - Girls' L.I.S. Championship 5,000 meters
3:45 pm - Combined Junior Race 5,000 meters
4:30 pm - Awards
Entries: Unlimited entries for all races
Entries will be due by October 29 at noon
Facilities: Locker rooms and showers will not be available. All competitors are asked to arrive at the course dressed. Porta-Johns will be behind the Barbee Center, near the Finish Line.
Tents: May be set up behind the Barbee Center. They may not be set up on or near the golf course or baseball field or in the EMS designated lane to medical tent.
Special Requests:
- Please stay away from all golf course tee boxes, sand traps, and greens.
- The main campus at the top of the hill is off limits to participants, spectators and guest school personnel.
Parking: Buses and vans should be parked as directed by Woodberry personnel on site. No vehicles will be permitted to go past the Barbee Center.
Medical: The top priority of our medical staff is to respond to life threatening medical emergencies. Minor injuries (scrapes, cuts, sprains, etc.) will be treated after serious injuries have been treated. The First Aid tent will be behind the Barbee Center, near the Finish Line. Please report any accidents or illnesses there.
