Waynesboro Cross Country Home Meet # 1
Address location: 700 S Magnolia Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980
Race Times: 5:00pm Girls , boys will follow roughly around 5:40
~This is our "Senior Night" , we will begin our senior night festivities across the bridge heading towards the start line around 4:45.
All buses are asked to drop off runners in the main parking lot near the pool and then park in the baseball parking lot. This allows for more spectator parking in the main parking lot. After drop off, the bus will almost exit the park and make a right at the park entrace to enter the baseball field parking lot.
Bathrooms will be available directly behind the pool and at the finish line.
Our course does require runners to run across a metal bridge after the completion of Mile 1. This is the only way for spectators to travel across the river as well. Spectators will be given a warning that the bridge is closing for runners. At that point, all spectators will have to remain on the other side of the bridge until they are given permission to cross. We ask that you please make parents, grandparents, and any other spectators that may be traveling with your team aware. We ask for your patience while we ensure the safety of the runners and value their handwork while running.
