Time/Schedule: Teams may not enter Bells Mill Park until 7:00 am
Coaches Meeting: 8:30 am (AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL)

AWARDS CEREMONY: 12:00 Noon

LOCATION: Bells Mill
Park - 424 Albemarle Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23322
SPECTATOR TICKETS: $10.00 general admission for ALL spectators (plus service charge). TICKETS WILL BE
AVAILABLE ONLY THOUGH GOFAN, NO CASH TICKETS WILL BE SOLD. Online tickets can be purchased at GOFANS.CO (Not .com)
TIMING: Championship Bib-Chip timing provided by Mettle Events
TRAINERS: CHKD trainers will be on site and at the finish line.
COURSE: Bells Mill Park (5K) is a spectator friendly, grass course over rolling hills.
START: A traditional start is planned for each race.
AWARDS: An awards presentation will take place at approximately 12:00 noon.
QUALIFYING: The top three (3) teams and the top five (5) individuals not on those teams will qualify for the State Meet.

DIRECTIONS: Coming into the City of Chesapeake from I-64 East or West, get off on 168-South (towards
Outer Banks, NC). Take the Great Bridge Exit (13B). At the bottom of the ramp (light), take a left onto Great Bridge Blvd. Stay in the right lane. Take a right onto Battlefield Blvd. Cross over the "bridge". After crossing the bridge, take a right on Albemarle Drive (light just before the Dairy Queen. Drive approximately 3/4 of a mile - Bells Mill Park is on the right.
PARKING: All spectator and bus parking will be across the street from Bells Mill Park. Buses will be allowed to drop off athletes in the parking lot and then park across the street. Police Officers will direct you. The Bells Mill Park
parking lot is for Event Staff, Trainers, handicapped with placards or by request and school administrators.
ONLINE REGISTRATION: Registration is on milestat.com for all athletes/entries.
OPENS: October 9, 2025 at 11:00 am
CLOSES: October 20, 2025 at 11:00 pm
Teams Registration: Teams maximum entries: 10 per race (Top 7 and 3 Alternates) Please print a copy of your
entries from milestat to bring to the Regional Championship meet.
GENERAL INFORMATION FOR TEAMS AND SPECTATORS:
- Sportsmanship should be demonstrated at all times. Verbal abuse directed towards meet
officials, coaches, or athletes may result in dismissal and disqualification
from the event.
- All participants should be wearing team issued uniforms and in accordance with all
VHSL rules.
- Please do not enter the finish line area or get near timing devices.
- Please help keep Bells Mill Park clean by taking with you all of your items,
equipment, and trash.
- Watch out for runners during the race - Stay off the course.
- VHSL rules - No pacing of runners permitted.
