IF NUMBERS ARE LOW IN A PARTICULAR EVENT, BOYS AND GIRLS SECTIONS MAY BE COMBINED TO SAVE TIME.
ENTRY LIMITS
ALL FIELD EVENTS: UNLIMITED ENTRIES PER TEAM, BUT PLEASE LIMIT INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES TO A SINGLE FIELD EVENT. IF YOU HAVE AN ATHLETE FOR WHOM IT MAKES SENSE TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE FIELD EVENT, CONTACT COACH DUNN.
ALL RUNNING EVENTS: UNLIMITED ENTRIES PER TEAM, BUT PLEASE LIMIT INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES TO TWO RUNNING EVENTS (INCLUDING RELAYS) FOR PARTICIPANT SAFETY AND THE TIMELINESS OF THE MEET. IF YOU HAVE AN ATHLETE WHO FOR WHOM IT MAKES SENSE TO HAVE MORE THAN TWO RUNNING EVENTS, CONTACT COACH JEREMY DUNN (DUNNJ@STCVA.ORG).
IN THE SHOT PUT AND LONG JUMP THERE WILL BE FINALS ONLY WITH EACH COMPETITOR HAVING 4 JUMPS/THROWS.
IF POSSIBLE, WE WILL GET AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. PLEASE INSTRUCT YOUR ATHLETES THAT THEY NEED TO BE AT THE MEET AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE THEIR EVENT IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN.
FIELD HOUSE DOORS WILL OPEN AT 2:45 PM
VISITING TEAMS SHOULD SET UP ANYWHERE IN THE BALCONY/OVERLOOK AREA. THE BLEACHERS ARE FOR SPECTATORS.
SPIKES MAY BE WORN IF THEY ARE 1/4 INCH OR LESS. WHEN NOT IN COMPETITION, ATHLETES SHOULD REMAIN OUTSIDE THE OVAL. THE TRACK IS NOT OPEN FOR WARMING UP AFTER FIRST CALL FOR THE RUNNING EVENTS, ATHLETES MAY USE THE OUTDOOR TRACK FOR WARMING UP. THE OUTDOOR TRACK IS LOCATED DIRECTLY BEHIND THE FIELD HOUSE.
