2:30 - Course Opens

3:00 pm Middle School & High School Packet Pick Up at the Scoring Tent (near finish line)

3:30 - Coaches Meeting

4:00 - Middle School Girls 3K

4:30 - Middle School Boys 3K

5:00 - Girls Varsity 5k (Top 10 per school)

5:45- Boys Varsity 5k (Top 10 per school)

6:15 - Combined JV Boys & Girls 5k (Unlimited)

8th Grade Runners are able to compete in J.V. race or middle school race.

Varsity Races: Top 10 runners in varsity races; all others in JV races.

Entry Fee: $100.00 per High School team ($175.00 if you are bringing a boys and girls team). Team fee for Middle School teams is $50 per team or $100 for boys and girls teams. $15.00 per athlete if there is no full team. Please make checks out to "James River High School" with "XC Invitational" in the memo section.

DIRECTIONS: FROM 81 NORTH: Traveling south on I-81, take Exit 150B (first 150 exit). Turn right onto U. S. Route 220 North, towards Fincastle. Travel 1.7 miles and turn left at the light onto Catawba Road (Route 779). Continue for 1.8 miles and turn right onto Etzler Road (672). Proceed down Etzler Road for .8 mile until you see the sign for Recreation Park at Greenfield, turn right, Greenfield Recreation Center on right. FROM 81 SOUTH: Traveling north on I-81, take Exit 150B (second 150 exit), stay in the right hand lane on the exit ramp, Take 220 North at the stoplight, towards Fincastle. Travel 1.7 miles and turn left at the light onto Catawba Road (Route 779). Continue for 1.8 miles and turn right onto Etzler Road (672). Proceed down Etzler Road for .8 mile until you see the sign for Recreation Park at Greenfield, turn right, Greenfield Recreation Center on right.

ENTRY INSTRUCTION: Entries are due on Milestat by 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

CONCESSIONS: Delicia's Gourmet Ice and other vendors will be available for food purchases.

T-Shirts will be available and screen printed on site.

TIMER: Timing will be handled by Jeremy Woods of Run Roanoke

ATHLETIC TRAINER: There will be an athletic trainer on site, stationed near the finish line.

WATER: Water will be provided at the finish line.
