SPECTATORS: VHSCA, VIAAA & VHSL PRINCIPAL'S AND HONORED GUEST PASSES will be accepted. DISTRICT & FACULTY passes and WILL NOT be accepted. Daily admission will be $12.00 each day. No cash will be accepted. Tickets can be purchased here.
ATHLETES: Athletes in proper uniform will be admitted free at the door. Athletes who are not in uniform will have to pay admission to enter the Facility. Only spikes or less may be used. Only TAPE will be allowed to mark the track or runways. Please remove all tape after the event has been completed. Electronic devices are not permitted in the competition area. This includes the fenced area for field events.
EQUIPMENT: Meet management will furnish starting blocks. All other equipment, team or personnel, must be furnished by the competing schools.
RULES AND SCORING: The event scoring will follow the standard NFHS Track and Field scoring system, awarding 10 points for first place, 8 for second, 6 for third, and so on, down to 1 point for eighth place (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1). This is outlined in Rule 2- Section 1-3 of the NFHS Track and Field Rules for 2026.
ENTRIES: OFFICIAL REGIONAL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED ONLINE VIA THE MILESTAT ENTRY SYSTEM NO LATER THAN MIDNIGHT SUNDAY, MAY 17, 2026. YOUR ENTRIES AS OF THIS DEADLINE WILL BE CONSIDERED FINAL AND DECLARED. Each team will be allowed to enter a maximum of 5 athletes per event. Each athlete can participate in 3 running events, and any amount of field events. Each team can enter only one relay from their school.
DECLARATION: ALL ENTRIES FOR INDIVIDUAL RUNNING EVENTS AT THE DEADLINE ON SUNDAY WILL BE, BY RULE, DECLARED. IT WILL COUNT AGAINST THE ATHLETE'S MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE EVENTS WHETHER CONTESTED OR NOT.
RELAYS: Relay teams will be declared on a relay card provided at the time of the event check-in. Eight (8) athletes may be listed, any four (4) of whom may run. The relay will count as an event only for those four (4) athletes who compete in the relay. Note that any athlete who is running on a relay only MUST be entered in that relay AND only those athletes entered may be eligible to run on that relay.
STARTING HEIGHTS AND/OR CHANGES WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE GAMES COMMITTEE ONLY.
ADVANCEMENT: Top 4 finishers in each event plus anyone who meets the state qualifying standard in the Regional Meet, or in a sanctioned meet involving 10 or more teams (5 or more teams if fully automated timing is used) will advance to the VHSL Class 5 State Outdoor Championships, June 05 - June 06 at Todd Stadium in Newport News VA.
DRESSING AREA: There will be no athletic dress rooms provided.
