Site: Rocktown High School Outdoor Track, 2970 E Kaylor Park Dr, Harrisonburg, VA 22801
Entries: Three entries per event and one relay
Facility:
Locker rooms are not available
Bathrooms are located at both ends of the track
Concessions will be available. Cash, credit/debit cards, and tap to pay are accepted.
No food or fluids (other than water) in the competition area.
Our athletic trainer, Siaura Saville, will be located to the left of the Pole Vault area.
No ELECTRONICS in the competition area.
The timing platform is a restricted area. Please see the meet director if you have any questions regarding the results.
Spectator Information:
$6.00 per person, cash or electronic tickets sold at the ticket table
Spectators will enter the secondary entrance closest to the school and pay at the ticket table.
Spectators may sit on the home side of the bleachers
Accepted Passes: VATA, VHSCA, VHSL, VIAAA, VSBA, and principal membership cards
Team Areas:
Team camps can be on the grassy areas outside the track or on the visitor side in the bleachers. Except for student-athletes warming up or actively competing, no other team members are allowed in the infield areas.
Miscellaneous Meet Details:
Awards: Medals - Top 3 Individual and Top 3 Relay Teams
will receive medals. Coaches may pick them up at the end of the meet in the Clerking Area.
Spikes: 1/4 pyramids or smaller are the only ones allowed in the facility.
The announcer will make the following calls for all events:
First Call: 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.
Second Call: 10 minutes before the start of the event
Third Call: 5 minutes before the start of the event
Field Event Notes:
Visitor-side benches will be available for all competitors. Home side bleachers are for spectators.
Team members must check in at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Please listen for announcements.
In all field events, team members (if needed) will have up to a 15-minute check-out period.
In the vertical events, the bar rises when all competitors have cleared, passed, or missed an attempt.
In the horizontal jumps and the shot put, competitors who have checked out must return before the last attempt of the last competitor in the preliminary round.
The site is closed once a field event ends, and team members are not allowed in the area.
No sitting on the mats once the HJ and PV are over.
