Meet Information
Welcome to Cumberland Middle School home outdoor track meet,
( South Side Middle School Conference)
Cumberland High School Track is a newly 7 lane track with 2 jumping pits, high jump apron, pole vault, discus, and shot put areas. Cumberland home side stands and grass area's have plenty of room for teams to set-up. No pets are allowed in the facility. There will be concessions and food trucks available for the event.
Please abide by VHSL code of conduct and sportsmanship by treating teams as well others with courtesy and respect. Use trash receptacles, and teams police your areas of trash. Timing area will be roped and off limits to athletes, coaches, and spectators. In cases of inclement weather (lightning), there will be 30 minute rule of spectators exiting the stadium until deem safe.

Eligibility: 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, absolutely No 9th graders
*Athletes are limited to 3 running events and may be entered in unlimited field events.*
Time: 4:45 pm - field events, 5:30 pm - running events
Place: Cumberland High School Track
Parking: Elementary school parking lot that's directly across from football stadium ticket booth.
Bus Parking: Team bus parking will be located at the Elementary School bus parking lot.
Concessions and vendors will be available on-site
Field Events - 3 attempts no finals (Depending on the number of LJ and HJ competitors we may use one pit only and go girls HJ first / boys long jump, then boys HJ followed and girls LJ)
boys long jump - Pit 1 (Open pit)
Girls long jump - Pit 2 (Open pit)
Girls shot put followed by boys shot put
Boys discus followed by girls discus
Girls high jump followed by boys high jump
Girls high jump will start right after girls long jump
Pole vault boys & girls together
(shot put, discus, long jump, high jump, pole vault) coaches from teams will officiate field events
girls 6lb shot put, boys 8lb or 4kg shot puts - discus 1.0 kg both genders

*4x200 meter relay
*100 meter hurdles
*100 meters
*1600 meters
*4x100 meter relay
*400 meters
*800 meters
*200 meters
*4x400 meter relay
