Jackson River Run
Preliminary Information

Where: Dabney S. Lancaster Community College
Clifton Forge, VA
Time Schedule: Middle School Girls 9:30 a.m. Middle School Boys 10:00 a.m.
High School Girls 10:30 a.m High School Boys 11:15 a.m.
J.V. Girls 12:00 p.m. J.V. Boys 12:45 p.m.
Entries Due: Monday October 4. Please confirm participation ASAP.
Divisions: High School Boys; High School Girls
JV Boys ; JV Girls
Middle School Boys (6th-8th); Middle School Girls (6th -8th) 1.5 mile
(We are looking at adding an open division)
Your high school team must be entered as Varsity.
Awards:: Team Awards to the top boy and girl varsity teams. Individual awards to top 15 boys and top 15 girls. Individual Champions receive plaques. Individual medals to top 7 in J.V. and Middle School divisions. (Depending on size of field, awards could change).
Cost: Options
#1: $100 7 Varsity Members in each Varsity race, unlimited entrants in J.V. and Middle School Race. (Boys and Girls Combined)
#2: $50 Per Varsity Team (Boys or Girls). 7 varsity runners plus unlimited J.V, and Middle School
#3 $25 Middle School Team (Boys or Girls) unlimited runners.
#4 $10 Per Entrant over 4 entrants is considered a team.
The Jackson River Run will be held on the grounds of Dabney S. Lancaster Community College in Clifton Forge, VA. The course is mostly flat and heavily wooded, winding its way partially along the Jackson River. The course runs over grass and a dirt trail, with some gravel and rocks
The Jackson River Run will be run under the play for a cure idea. It will be decided this fall what group will benifit. T-Shirt sales, admission fees and a portion of concessions will be donated to the charity of our choice..
Concession will be available all day.
Note: A final information bulletin will be sent to all coaches who request information or commit their teams to run by August 1.
