Meet Information
The summer track series starts June 23. We have a new location this year: Maggie Walker Governor's School on Lombardy Rd. Each week there is a different series of events. There is always one feature event and the meet ends with a predict your time mile. The event is free to kid's 12 and under and only $2 for everyone else. The charge is per night not per event. Registration opens at 6 pm and events start at 6:30. There are separate heats for children and adults.
PYT Mile (predict your time) with the winner being closest to their prediction without the use of a watch.
Registration will start no later than 6:00 pm, with all participants responsible for providing their registration forms at the starting line or to the meet Director prior to their first event. The meets will begin promptly at 6:30 pm in the order indicated above. For sprint events, participants will need to be in the starting area when first call is announced, in order to receive heat assignments. The time between events will be determined by the number of participants. It is anticipated that the feature event will start between 7:30 and 7:45, with the PYT Mile starting around 8:00 to 8:15 pm.
The entry fee for the meets is $ 2.00 per participant 13 and older and free for those 12 and younger regardless of the number of events entered.
