ESTIMATED TIME SCHEDULE

Qualifiers: 3 entries per team per event plus 1 relay team per team per relay.  If entering more than 3 individual entries in a specific event, all entered must meet the Regional qualifying standard. NEW REGION RULE FROM 2022-2023 - Regional qualifying times must be achieved at a verifiable event using Fully Automatic Timing.  A qualifying time may be achieved at any meet. Athletes in Field events may qualify for Regionals at any verifiable meet. All marks need to be in MileStat for verification. You may use the best time of the season from a meet as long as it is on milestat for your entry, even if it is not a regional qualifying time.

Entries: You will place your entries on Milestat, entries are due by 8:00 pm on Monday, May 25, 2026. Relay teams will be officially declared on a relay declaration card when the team reports to the clerk of course for check-in. At that time a maximum of 6 athletes from your entry list may be listed, any 4 of which may run. Athletes entered in individual events will be included in your meet roster and need not be re-listed as relay legs.  Only athletes listed on your on-line meet roster will be allowed to compete.  Remember to include all potential relay runners not already entered in an individual event.

Declaration: All entries remaining after the declaration deadline, 5pm on Tuesday, May 26, will be considered final and declared and will count against their VHSL entry limit, whether they compete in them or not. In the event a coach inadvertently declares an athlete in more than allowed, meet management will automatically scratch those athletes from all events over the allowed limit, beginning with the last event on the time schedule and working backwards until the maximum legal limit is reached.

Entry Limits: An athlete may compete in any number of field events, but only 3 running events in one day except an athlete competing in the 3200M run may compete in only one other running event on the same day. (NOTE- THIS DIFFERS FROM THE NFHS EVENT LIMIT RULE)

Officials: Key officials (referee, starter, finish line, FAT) will be VHSL certified officials.  Each team is asked to provide one coach to assist with field event assistance.  If an appeal involves a team associated with a member of the jury of appeals, a substitute from the same district will be assigned.

Meet Referee: Bill Stewart

Timing: Mike Kiernan, PMV Timing
