2026 Region 4C Cross Country Meet
Wednesday, Oct. 28th at Oatlands Historic Homes and Gardens
RACE TIMES: Boys Race 1:00pm/ Girls Race 1:45pm
COACHES MEETING: 12:30pm at Finish Line
COURSE DESCRIPTION: A 5K course run on the grounds on Leesburg's historic Oatlands Plantation. The course is mostly grass, with rolling hills, some wooded trails, and two creek crossings. Runners can expect some short hills with sharp inclines. A spectator friendly course that requires very little walking.
COURSE OPENS: 11 a.m.
TIMING: Provided by BS Timing
AWARDS: Will be presented following the girls race near the finish line.

ENTRIES AND ADVANCEMENT: Due on Milestat by Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
1. All teams will compete in the Regional Meet.
2. Teams allowed 7 runners, and 3 alternates that WILL NOT run in the event.
3. Scoring will be determined by the placement of the top five (5) runners, with the additional two (2) runners used to displace runners and affect overall scores.
Alternate runners may only take the place of a runner not able to compete that day if they are not substituted before the race.
4. The top three (3) teams advance to the 4A State Tournament as well as the top five (5) runners exclusive of those qualifying with their team.
ADMISSION: Admission will be charged according to Region 4C policy. The cost of admission will be $10.00 per car. Purchase on GoFan (search Heritage High School (Leesburg) for tickets) or exact change appreciated. Region 4C, VHSL, VHSCA, VASSP, NASSP, VIAAA, and VHSL Principals Passes will be honored for the bearer only.
PARKING: Follow signs and attendants.
DRESS: No dressing room, dress at home. Portable restrooms are onsite for use.
Directions: From the South: Rt 29 North or I-66 to Rt 15 North. Rt 15 North approximately 18 miles to Oatlands Plantation on the right.
From the East: Rt. 267 (Toll Road) West to Leesburg. Left Lane at the end of the toll road. Less than .5 mile to second exit, Rt 15 South. Follow Rt 15 South approximately 5 miles to Oatlands Plantation on the left.
From the West: Rt 7 East to Leesburg. Follow Rt 7 Bypass to exit for Rt. 15 South. Follow Rt 15 for approximately 5 miles to Oatlands Plantation on the left.
