Virtual meet preview for the Eastern District Championships predicts a sweep of the team titles for the Churchland program. Booker T. Washington's Thireyona Legg (pictured above by Ryan Kelly) has had a breakout senior season in the jumps and sprints as she will be contending for individual district titles in the long jump, triple jump, 500 meter dash, and 300 meter dash. Last weekend, Legg ran one of the state's fastest times at 500 meters with 1:15.60 performance and won the triple jump with a PR mark of 37'5.50".
