Meet Information
Your boys and/or girls track and field teams have accepted an invitation to the opening meet in the new track and field facility at Woodberry Forest School.
Date of Invitational: Saturday, April 9th 2011.
Location: Woodberry Forest School has one entrance located 4 miles north of Orange, Va. on Route 15.
Facility: Eight-lane Beynon synthetic track; one pole vault pit; one high jump pit; three long/triple jump runways; two shot put vectors; one discus vector. Lynx photo finish timing.
Uniforms and Shoes: School uniforms are required of all participants. Spikes must be 1/4-inch or less. No hexagonal elements and no "Christmas Tree" spikes.
Teams Attending: Flint Hill, Holy Child, Cathedral, William Monroe, Charlottesville, Madeira, Pope John Paul the Great Catholic HS, Brooke Point HS, St. Albans School, Madison County HS, St. Mary's Ryken High School, Courtland High School, Louisa County High School, Blue Ridge School, Western Albemarle High School, and Orange County High School
Starting Time: Field Events: 1:00 PM; Running events 1:30.

CANCELLATION POLICY: There will be no rain cancellation.
REGISTRATION: Rosters need to be entered on www.directathletics.com by Thursday 7 April at 6:00 P.M..
DRESSING: All competitors are asked to arrive at the course dressed. Locker rooms will not be available.
CHECK IN: Coaches should check in at the Finish Line Tent immediately upon arrival. Any emergency scratches or changes must be made well before the meet begins. (NOTE: We strongly discourage last-minute changes, but we will accept them if they are unavoidable, for example if there was a last-minute injury). Please do not expect us to accommodate major roster revisions.
PARKING: In the field across the road from the track.
MEDICAL POLICY: A trainer and a nurse will be available, but the top priority of our medical staff is to respond to serious medical emergencies. Minor injuries (such as pulled muscles) may have to wait. Teams should bring medical kits and ice for treating routine problems.
Entries: Four entries per individual event and two relay entries per race. Entry times/marks should be from competition or trials when possible, but given the time of the season, we will accept coaches' "best estimates."
