2011 WALKERS RUN
Walkers Run will be held Saturday, September 17th at Hungry Mother State Park, Marion, Virginia. Please send your entries to trojantiming@yahoo.com by Monday, September 12th.
Entry Fee
Teams:
$ 60 Per school for High School teams before September 10th,2011( $30 for girls/$30 for boys). $90 per school for High School teams after September 10th,2011, until race day( $45 for girls/$45 for boys).
$30 for middle school team
Individual:
$5 per person(High and Middle school runners only) before September 10th ,2011 and $8 after September 10th until race day.
$15 entry fee for open 5K walk/Run( coaches and anyone in the community), $20 after September 10th until race day.

From Bristol, VA go I-81 North, Take exit 44 for US-11 toward Marion. Turn right onto US-11 N/Lee Hwy, Continue to follow US-11 N. Turn left onto N Main St .Turn left onto VA-16 N/Park Blvd. Follow the sign Walkers Run
From Roanoke,VA go 1-81 South, Take exit 47 for US-11 toward Marian. Turn left onto US-11 S/Lee Hwy. Continue to follow US-11 S. Turn right onto VA-16 N/Park Blvd . Follow the sign Walkers Run
Course Information:
This years meet will be on a new course. The course will be on a beautiful trail with multiple inclines. Course distant will be 3.1 miles with markers painted on surface. Middle school will run 1.5 miles on separate course(one loop). Spikes are permissible. Coaches packets can be picked up at scores tents. Walkers Run T-Shirts will be on sale.
