#2 Libby Davidson will win The Foot Locker National Title
Libby has a great way of stepping up when she has to. She is one of the best our state has ever seen and the best to ever run at a Virginia state meet held at Great Meadow. Being this great at such a young age has also hindered her. She is such a great runner that she is not too used to racing next to someone. We saw her face off with Kelati twice last year in-state and then against Ryen Frazier down at Foot Locker South. Those were really her only times facing tough competition and you could see she learned something from each of those races. Her learning curve is also almost as quick as she is.
By the time she the plane landed in San Diego for FL Nationals she was a total different competitor. She finished 6th in a stacked field and showed the country that she is for real. This year she is going to face off with better in-state competition which is going to help her exponentially in those big races. She is still the queen of Virginia XC and this year she will become the National Champion.
