VA is going to have a lot of high finishers here but it will take some monstrous performances to take home the title. The best event for us will definitely be the triple jump where we have five competitors and all are capable of breaking 40. If one of them pops a 43 footers then we are talking about serious stuff and state records. It should be noted that triple jump and the throws have historically been strong for VA at The Penn Relays. The high jump unfortunately has been very weak but that can all change this year.
