This weekend marks the largest meet in Northern Virginia this year and the meet with by far the most out-of-state competition entering Virginia to compete. This meet is of course the Oatlands Invitational which has grown to be the second largest meet in the entire state of Virginia each XC season.
Attending this year's meet will be 87 different teams from VA, DC, MD, PA, WV, and more.
All 3559 competitors will have their hands full though as both course records fell last year. Who broke those records? You guessed it! Andrew Hunter and Weini Kelati destroyed the course records last year meaning if you want to set a record Saturday you better be prepared to win a Foot Locker title this December.
The Girls' course record is now 17:11 with the #10 time being 18:37 while the boys record is 15:12 and #10 time is 15:45.96.
