Field Events
Though it will be an uphill battle, the triple jump team from VA could really put on a clinic this weekend if things go well for them. Entering the competition as strong contenders for the boys' and girls' triple jump titles are Hasani Knight (Landstown), Gary Williams (Western Branch), and Titiana Marsh (Thomas Dale).
Marsh will be the VA athlete to watch on the field side of things as this will be her first nationals despite having multiple national class records. She had a let down to her standards at states so she will be firing on all cylinders in New York. She is ranked 3rd in the long and 2nd in the triple. She will need to take down both state records to have a chance at winning.
