Girls' Race Preview
The girls' race will be nothing short of exciting with some very evenly matched lineups this time around. Powerhouse Maggie Walker will definitely enter as the co-favorites this meet but Western Albemarle's lineup can't be counted out either. Both teams will feature superstars on their relays with Zoe Clay for Western Albemarle and Mary Caroline Heinen running.
Some other big names could shake things up as well with Lily Snow for Deep Run, Abigail Church for Freedom, and Jodi Tolarchyk for Hickory. All of these girls are difference makers and can seriously change the makeup of an entire race.
With no team having too strong of a 1-2 punch it seems like the lineups will make all the difference. You will have some teams running their best 3rd, some going 4th, and of course the teams with them running anchor.
Our prediction right now is that Western Albemarle, Freedom, and Maggie Walker will all put their studs last and make it even more exciting under the lights.
