Last spring's Group AA state discus throw runner-up Justin Neff (photo by Andrew Kicinski) of Millbrook opened up his outdoor season with a mark of 150'8" at the Ram Country Invitational on Saturday in Strasburg. Neff started off his high school career at Sherando before moving to cross town school Millbrok for his junior year, which culminated with a personal best throw of 155'0" to become the state runner-up in the discus last June at the 2012 Group AA State Meet in Harrisonburg.
