Awards:

Trophy:boys/girls team champions

Medals:top eight finishers in individual events

Medals:top four teams in relay events

Entry Guidelines:

Two per event. You may exceed the two entry limit so long as ALL athletes entered meet the district standard in that event.

Top eight (8) individuals and top four (4) relays move on to region meet.

ENTRY FORM:

Entries will be completed on milestat. The entry period begins on May 8, 2018. http://va.milesplit.com/

Athletes must entered on Milestat by 11:59 pm, Sunday May 13, 2018, at which time they are CLOSED.

Supplemental Entries need to be done on the supplemental form and emailed to Bruce.Sheppard@lcps.org

Verification:

Entry VerificationDeadline: Monday, May 14 3:00 pm

Any scratches from track events after the entry verification deadline will

disqualify that athlete from that event. Reminder any athlete scratched from an

event ex.100m may not be added to a relay unless already declared for that

relay.

Implements:

Meet officials must weigh & verify event implements.

Implement Verification/weigh-ins: Rest room area2:00-2:30 pm

Participation:

As per state limitations

All races will be finals -Three jumps and three throws per athlete. With the top nine moving to the finals for three more attempts

Facility:

6-lane rubber track, runways, high jumparea

Only 1/8 or 1/4inch pyramid spikes are permitted

Concrete throwing circles

All teams should dress at home

Restrooms beside concession building

Admission Fee:

Conference guidelines: $6.00 for all spectators per day.

Athletes must be dressed in their school uniform to be admitted free.

T-shirts:

Will be custom printed on site, and available ina variety of styles.

Concessions:

Concessions will be available.

Coaches Meeting:

Scratches only.

A field competitor may scratch without penalty.

A track competitor scratching from one event mays till run other events.
