No of these youngsters remember us vets. I think an alumni meet would be great. I am throwing better in college than I did in high school, so switching back to those implements would be overkill. Let the actual members now compete too, so we can show them us vets still got it. I would like to see GB TF win another state title. That was one of the best days in my track career. I still where the ring with pride.

Also where are all the old timers (grads 2001 or before) that I used to run with and the guys that I looked up to back in the day. We need to have an alumni meet. I think I still have a 5:05 mile in me followed by a nice 2:09 in the 800 m. Also don't forget to stretch when you get older. Owen C. one of the alumni guys on this page passed away 2 years ago, but this guy was a year younger then me. He was a great friend and also could have been one of the best runners Great Bridge could have ever had.

The 4X800 relay record for the boys is all wrong. The actual record was set in 2000 Outdoor at an Evening Invatational in Jefferson Forest. The time was 8:04 or 8:06, and the team in order was Alex Gornik, Antonio Abad, Kevin Istrie, and Chris "Bulls" Alconcel. everyone ran a 2:00.9 to 2:01 split. Also the 800 meter was 1:54 by some guy in the Mid 1990's. Just thought you kids should know
