In just its second year as a varsity program, the Liberty Christian Academy girls team won its first outdoor track and field state championship. The Lady Bulldogs held off runner-up Potomac School with 120 points to the runner-up's 93. LCA came into the meet as the favorite to win, but only by 5 points.
