The indoor state team champions South County will be strong favorites to become outdoor state champions as well with one of the greatest and most versatile athletes in Virginia high school track & field history on their squad in Felecia Majors able to win the state meet by herself as she did during the indoor state championships back in February. Majors is slated to compete in 7 events over the two day meet between four field events in the pole vault, high jump, long jump, and triple jump along with the 100, 200, and 400 meter dashes. Majors is a defending state champion in the pole vault, long jump, 400, and 200, while she is definitely capable of being All-State and challenging for first in the high jump, triple jump, and 100 meter dash.
