MileStat.com travels the furthest Southwest that we have ever ventured for a meet in the state of Virginia on Wednesday out to Hillsville, Virginia at the Southwest Virginia Training Center for the Maroon Tide Invitational. Hosted by Galax High School, the Maroon Tide Invitational traditionally sees some of the fastest 5K times of the season for many of the small schools in the Southwest corner of the state. Last Wednesday, we drove up from our headquarters in Midlothian to one of the farthest Northwest corners of the state at Woodgrove High School in Purcellville for the Loudoun County Championships. This Wednesday, we really put on some miles on the odometer starting from Richmond and make our way all the way out to Hillsville in Southwest VA for the Maroon Tide Invitational.
