A list of the top 50 fastest freshmen boys 5K times in Virginia from this past cross country season. Millbrook's Alec Schrank was the top performing freshmen at the VHSL State Championships three weeks ago at Great Meadow with a 6th place finishing time of 16:10 in the Group 4A race to lead his team to a state runner-up finish. Schrank also was the highest finisher from Virginia in the freshmen race at Foot Locker South this past weekend in Charlotte with a third place time of 16:12. His fastest time of the season, which remained the fastest among all freshmen in the state of Virginia was posted at the Third Battle Invitational in Winchester with a 16:05 clocking.
