BRIDGEWATER, VA -- Christopher Newport University dominated the Bridgewater College Invitational by earning perfect score 15 point wins on both the men's and women's side. The men, who placed 9 runners in the top 10, were led by freshmen Cary Chaffee (1st, 28:37) and Brandon Miles (2nd, 28:49) as they were over a half a minute ahead of the rest of the competition on the mountainously challenging Rockingham County Fairgrounds 8K course. The women, who took 6 of the first 8 places, were paced once again by senior Aimee Gibbs, who notched her second invitational win of the season with her time of 23:59 on Bridgewater's 6K course.
