Alec, currnetly sitting inside the top 25 in the state, has been running very consistent this season. He posted an impressive 16:05 personal best last year as a freshman and has already improved on that this year. The real test for him will be next weekend when he runs third battle again. That is where he pr'd last season and is a well known fast course. It should be something to see if he can dip well into the 15:00s at that meet. Overall though he has run consistently better on harder courses this year and is definitely someone to keep an eye on this season and more.
