Final 2007 outdoor track rankings for the Virginia Group AAA girls. Event rankings are 50 deep (or as deep as # of performances). Also in a first for MileStat.com, All-MileStat.com Team award winners are going to be extended to each classification (private, A, AA, and AAA). Athlete of the year among Group AAA girls goes to the most versatile of them all in Rachel Butler of Lee-Davis (pictured right by John Herzog). Butler tallied 37 points on her own at the AAA State Championships to have her team finish third in the team standings along with another state championship in the triple jump. The week prior at the Central Region Meet, Butler nearly became the first athlete in the region's history to win six individual regional titles and later went onto finish as a national runner-up at the Nike Outdoor Nationals in the triple jump.
