After a one year hiatus, the Newport News Invitational is back at Newport News Park this weekend. Maggie Walker looks to be the dominant squad for the girls led by a possible 1-2 individual finish from Susannah Piersol and Clarissa Schick. Two of the higher ranked private school teams in Norfolk Academy and Peninsula Catholic look to fight out for the top three places. Tabb's Will Mulherin, Gloucester's Doug Fenstermacher, and Mills Godwin's Brian Welch are the top individual runners coming among the boys for the Newport News Invite.
