Girls Results Merge From Great Meadow Invite

It was a talented chase pack of runners following after Emma Wolcott throughout the varsity A race at Great Meadow. Ultimately, Heritage's Georgie Mackenzie would pull away from the group to finish second in 19:13, while Rock Ridge's Kathryn Harris in 19:30 held off Jefferson Forest's Madelynn Knight for third place.

However, Knight would lead the Jefferson Forest girls to the team title over Mackenzie's Heritage squad who was racing without their #1 runner in Foot Locker finalist Weini Kelati. The Sherando girls move up to third place in the results merge adding in performances from their JV finishers, which the third place team award at the meet had gone to Tuscarora in the actual varsity A race.

A total of 649 finishers with 42 teams scoring in the girls results merge from the 2015 Great Meadow Invitational.
