Great Meadow Invitational 2015

Poolesville's Nandini Satsangi had an impressive high school debut race at the Great Meadow Invitational on Saturday in The Plains, Virginia finishing 7th in the varsity A race with a time of 19:53.

Things are already getting heated and we are just started here with cross country for the 2015 season in Virginia! The Great Meadow Invitational on Saturday served as the first major invitational of the year in the state.

Jacob Hunter is already starting out high school much faster than his older brother in US #1 ranked Drew Hunter. Jacob won his Great Meadow Invite JV race in 17:15. 1:42 faster than Drew's high school debut race.

It was a great day for the Tuscarora program at the Great Meadow Invitational having both individual champions in the varsity A races with senior Fitsum Seyoum (15:46) and sophomore Emma Wolcott (18:53).

Tuscarora senior Fitsum Seyoum won the varsity A boys race at the 2015 Great Meadow Invitational in a new 5K personal best time of 15:46. His cousin happens to be 2014 Foot Locker finalist Weini Kelati, which he hopes to join her in San Diego this fall.

Tuscarora sophomore Emma Wolcott made it a 2 for 2 day for her program having both individual champions at the Great Meadow Invite winning the varsity A girls race in a time of 18:53
