2:30 - VISAA D1 Boys
In the star studded Division 1 race the boys did not disappoint. Lomong, Dannaher, and Sanok all battled it out but it was Sanok crossing the line first. This was also the most senior heavy finish of the entire states' weekend that saw the entire top seven be seniors. Trinity won the team title as expected by Fork Union and Woodberry Forest moved up strongly to take second and third.
3:00 - VISAA D2 Boys
For a third time in a row it was Miles Clikeman crossing the line first. He was the runner-up as a 8th grader then sixth as a freshman and champion ever since. The next top four runners were all underclassmen and ready to fill his void now that he is done with XC. Team wise it was Peninsula Catholic in a landslide over Trinity Christian.
3:30 - VISAA D1 Girls
Maddie Hunter pulled away late and held on in the D1 girls' race that saw her finish in 19:02. That finish and the help of her four other teammates helped St. Anne's Belfield come away with the big trophy this year as they edged out Bishop O'Connell and defending champs Saint Catherine's by a combined 18 points.
4:00 - VISAA D2 Girls
In the final race of the VISAA State Championships we had another three-peat from Veritas with Morgan Lewis running away from the field and crossing the line first again in 19:08 almost a minute faster then any other competitor. But with the upset, though they wouldn't say it was an upset, was Covenant school coming away with the team title solidly over Walsingham Academy. This cemented one of the best weekends in Charlottesville-area running history.
