Nansemond River 4x100m Relay
Considering Nansemond River, or Team WAR as they are better known, swept the relays at nationals, it was fairly hard to choose between those wins for this title. Though Brandee' split 53.1 and 22.60 to anchor both relays, this one has to take the cake considering it was a significant state record and one of the fastest times ever.
Their performance of 45.08 is .89 seconds faster than any other team in our state's history which goes back decades. The quartet of Morgan Towe, Syaira Richardson, Brandee' Johnson, and Dajae' Goulet was simply unstoppable this year.
