The only word to describe Weini this entire year is undefeated. She did not drop a single loss all year and made it look easy. She ended her high school career the right way of course by winning both the two-mile and 5K at NBON. It was also fitting to see her finally have some great competition in Nevada Mareno pushing her to the very brink in the two mile.
Weini also broke the state 3200m record running a 9:53 solo effort at the Dogwood Track Classic.
