Alexis Clark (James Monroe - 2018)
Alexis made it look easy this year against some of the best competition our state has ever had. She ended the year launching a 47'+ shot put and 142' discus to take home the state lead in both events. She won both events at her state meet and came very close to winning both emerging elite divisions at nationals. She did win the discus but finished second in the shot put.
She is quickly moving up the all-time list in both events and is only a sophomore this year. Her shot put of 47-2.5 is a state class record.
