Girls Championship Race Preview
It is a shame this race is not run in VA because it is going to be one of the best races of the entire year. You have Heather Holt, Noel Palmer, Kate Murphy, Ryann Helmers, Doria Martingayle, and the entire James Madison, Lake Braddock, and Blacksburg squads as well. It is going to be a fast race for Team VA.
VA will have four full teams represented this weekend (Lake Braddock, Blacksburg, Albemarle, and James Madison) and two with a serious shot at winning it all. These two teams are the Bruins of Lake Braddock and Blacksburg. It is going to be a tight battle between the two and a battle for every inch as these teams are going to likely end in a virtual grid lock.
It does help though that Lake Braddock has the likely favorite of the entire meet with Kate Murphy. She is going to face some of the best runners in the entire nation though as she will have to beat VA #1 and VA #2 if she wants to open up with a win.
Undefeated records and the chance to be one of the biggest winners of the weekend are all on the line this weekend.
