PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The 2009 national record setting quartet from Charlottesville and Albemarle high school just received word that they will be inducted this April onto the Penn Relays Wall of Fame. This group of guys will be the 21st high school relay team to achieve this honor since 1900.

Their performance of 7:30.67 still stands today as the third fastest time ever and at the time broke the previous record by a margin of over two seconds. That was in no small part thanks to Anthony Kostelac's monster anchor leg.
Their splits were: Garrett Bradley (1:55.43), Luke Noble (1:55.34), Zach Vrhovac (1:50.57), and Anthony Kostelac (1:49.33).
They also hold the indoor national record set back in 2009. That record is 7:36.99 and most experts agree that this is one of the hardest records to break on the books still today.
