While it was perfect day for distance runners to drop PR's under a cloudy and early stages rainy cool day at the Dogwood Track Classic, Nansemond River sophomore Kori Carter warmed up to conditions as well to throw down two state leading times in the hurdles with her winning times of US #20 13.91 in the 100 hurdles (a sophomore state record) and US #13 41.93 in the 300 meter hurdles on Saturday.
Another epic Dogwood Track Classic is in the books in terms of quality and depth over two days of competition at UVA's Lannigan Field. A total of 10 state leading performances were recorded at the meet including 8 races on the track which you can watch below!
