Questions 1: What was your greatest moment while competing in high school?

My greatest moment while competing in high school was definitely breaking sixteen seconds in the 110m hurdles. I had been a mid-distance runner up until my sophomore yeah & I took advantage of my long strides and it helped me three step easy and get my PR in the 110m hurdles which was a 15.84.

Question 2: What is your biggest regret (related to T&F in high school) or what would you have done differently and why?

My biggest regret was not competing in indoor track and only doing outdoor. If I would have done indoor track I know I would have blossomed into an even better track athlete that I am.

Question 3: What will you miss the most about HS T&F/XC?

I'm gonna miss everything... from the smell of the track even to the hard workouts we did. I'm going to miss being a veteran and leading the team. Track was my passion and it made me happy.

Question 4: What is some advice from incoming frosh and rising seniors on your high school team that you would like to share with them?

Some advice to incoming newbies would be to not get too comfortable with what events you compete in. It is always good to step outside of your comfort zone and try new things. You will never know what you are capable of until you test your options.

Question 5: What was the hardest workout you did your entire high school career? Did you like it or did you dread it?

The hardest workout that I did was ladders. It sucked!!! Our ladders went from 1600s - 800s - 400s - 200s - 100s. It was the WORST thing ever but what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. You have to push through the hard workouts and move forward.

Question 6: How did you make track/XC a very individual sport into more of a team sport?

I made track more into a team sport when I figured out how points worked and that you cannot focus just on yourself. Giving your fellow teammates motivation is very important also and you cannot prosper as a team until you understand that concept.

Question 7: Finally, what are your college plans? Will you be competing in college, where? What do you plan on studying? What do you have as career plans?

I will be attending Virginia Commonwealth University during this Fall and I plan on looking into being a walk-on for their track team. My intended major is biology with a pre-med track and I hope to be a physician one day.
