The Tigers of Oscar Smith have some big goals for this weekend. Specifically their shuttle hurdle relay team, likely to be comprised of Kurt Powdar, Aaron Shirley, Shymeek Dixon, and Kevaughon Watson, is primed and arguably entered as the favorites for the national title in this event.
All of these guys are underclassmen meaning the pressure is not on them at all. They can enter the meet to have fun and that mentality could be deadly for their toughest competitors East Orange (NJ). Western Branch will also have a strong lineup but the likely two teams to watch are East Orange and Oscar Smith.
Kurt Powdar is also an outside pick for the 60mH title with his strong closing speed. He sits at US #1 for the 55mH and will certainly face very tough competition at the 60m distance.
