Emmanuel Waller Will Take Home A US No. 1 For 300H
Even in Virginia, no one saw this coming. Last year Waller (E.C. Glass) was a good athlete but this year he has blasted through the stratosphere. Last weekend he solidified that mark with his US No. 1 51.36 (400H) runner-up finish at the Penn Relays.
This week, though, he is finally racing his ideal hurdle distance: the 300m hurdles. Indoors he was the 4A State champion at 300m and went 34.95 on an indoor flat track. Expect some fireworks here when he squares off with L.C. Bird's Aaron Lewis.
