Jumping from 6th place to 3rd place in the team scores in a year is a big jump. That is exactly what St. Stephens & St. Agnes School (SSSAS) did this past weekend at the VISAA Championships. It was a points jump of 53 to 101 in the span of a year and it looks like it could just be the beginning.
Though senior Jordan Walker is graduating, it looks like the young stars behind him could very well reach even higher heights. One of the biggest of those stars is Malcolm Johnson Jr. who ran a blazing 10.84 in the rain as only a freshman. Expect to hear that name a lot next year.

This meteoric rise to team success is likely a result of two things. The first of which is Jordan Walker being a superstar. Having a star like that attracts more notoriety and talent. The second of which is the focus of SSSAS on their sports programs. We've seen this before in VISAA with Woodberry and others so don't be surprised to see this team making some big splashes in the coming years.
