William Spencer Just Ran VA #1 300H & VA #14 All-Time!

Highland Springs junior William Spencer left little doubt in his regional 300mH. Not only did he win his first 300H title but he also set a new Virginia #1 in the event with his #14 all-time performance of 36.85. Over the course of his career that was his third regional title having won the 55mH indoors and 110mH on Thursday.

This year has been a big year for William but this race really lifted him to another level. It seriously puts him in contention to win his first state title and lead Highland Springs to a lot of points next weekend. That will be crucial for the Springers as they rebuild their sprint and hurdle powerhouse that saw them winning titles left and right.

His 300mH time is also scary close to Grant Holloway's 36.73 junior state class record.

It will be a showdown next weekend between Spencer, Aaron Lewis, Faircloth, and a couple others for that 5A title but right now you cannot bet against someone who is running at such a high level at the right time in the season like Spencer is.
