Deep Run has raced some fast courses this season but was really waiting for Octoberfest to show their colors. This weekend may be a nice consolation for the Wildcats as they attempt to win back the 5A state title. 

Albemarle, the defending champs, look very good thus far so we will have to see a statement win from Deep Run at MileStat.com XC to even consider making them the favorites.
