NEW YORK, Ny. - The team of Connor Wells, Kevin Carlson, Jacob Hunter, and Sam Affolder came back on Saturday after their DMR win and broke the 4xMile national record with their 17:01.81 finish.
The splits on this relay were 4:22, 4:21, 4:06 (Affolder), and 4:11 (Hunter).
They were not done though after two national titles and two national records as they came back Saturday evening to take home the 4x800m relay as well with a US #3 all-time 7:40.49 to edge out Warrior Project from NC.
The splits on the 4x8 were 1:57, 1:57, 1:51, 1:54 and the team was comprised of Wells, Affolder, Hunter, and Jacob Windle.
