Last year saw Cole Beck run VA #4 all-time and this year could be even faster. The meet record of 10.38 set back in 1986 could be history with this stacked field. The big question though is who will win.
Entered in the event are five guys with serious shots at winning the title here and winning a state title later this season. Those five guys are Frank Royal (10.63), Javonte' Harding (10.65), Chris Tyree (10.66), Jaden Payoute (10.67), and Patrick Ream (10.83).
This race includes four state champions who are used to the prelims --> finals rounds and should be ready for a big performance this weekend. All of these guys are competitors and have raced little this outdoor season which means their training has been intense.
This should be a great one.
