Mateo it seems has finally found his comfort zone at Loudoun Valley. That should lead to quite a few PR's during his senior season. He will also of course need every second he can to compete with his Viking teammates and to chase a three-peat at NXN.

He owns a 15:38 personal best in the 5K and could realistically break 15 this year. Though his indoor season was not everything he had hoped for, it was evident outdoors that he is back in his groove and ready for XC this year.
